The first cooking class of the Season kicked off with four participant on Sunday Nov. 1st at TCCNH. We are very happy to be able to continue offering our very reasonably priced classes this year.
On the menu this week was:
Karni Yarik: Its a fresh eggplant stuffed with ground meat. cooked with tomato sous and spice in the oven.
Pilav: Cooked rice with noodle.
Cacik: Its basically yogurt drink with fresh cucumber. served with little olive oil and dry mint top of it for decoration and good flavour.
The best part is every body participating cooking and at the end of the cooking we ate what we made. The Turkish Cooking class is more than just a cooking class, and different to a lot of the classes that are offered in the city. Our aim is to bring people together in a relaxed and friendly environment to enjoy good food and company, make new friends and learn new things, and what better way to do that, than to share a delicious home cooked meal…
Our classes will continue on every Sunday between 3pm-5pm and you can always register for next time.
